Last year’s IPL champions, Mumbai Indians lend their support to the cause of The Education for All (EFA), an initiative that began in 2010.The initiative is committed to provide quality education in India under the guidance of Mrs. Nita Ambani. At EFA, it is not only education, but also sports that is given due importance;and cricket blends seamlessly with education in EFA.
Reliance Foundation and Mumbai Indians partnered with several NGOs in Mumbai with an aim to enhance the quality of education. The program has touched the lives of more than 70,000 underprivileged children.
Cricketainment for Children
Under this initiative,children will be taken from several NGOs to the Wankhede Stadium to catch an IPL match of the Mumbai Indians. In the past,more than 17,000 children have had a chance to witness their favorite players in action. Till date, 414 buses have been used to ferry the kids, and 100,000 food boxes have been distributed. To support the noble cause, more than 2,000 volunteers have participated in the initiative. The driving force of this initiative is to fulfill the children’s dreams. This IPL season, the children will get to watch their favorite stars on 8
th May.

EFA Focus on Holistic Development
EFA in association with other NGOs supports various initiatives to ensure holistic development of needy children. To ensure a happy and safe childhood, the association re-enrolls several drop outs, aids developmental disabilities, trains them in basic finance, and helps the child reach their full potential.
Mumbai Indians Collaborates with Diesel
The most popular IPL team, the Mumbai Indians, owned by Mrs. Nita Ambani and her son
Akash Ambani, partners with Diesel to produce limited edition global merchandise. The first collection will be launched at the end of this year and their second collection will be launched in spring 2017. Initially, the collection will be available only in the major cricket-playing nations.
In a press release, Mrs. Nita Ambani said that the collaboration with Diesel marks the global recognition of the brand Mumbai Indians. She said, "

Diesel will produce an exclusive line of merchandise that will comprise both bottom and top-wear. The collection will be available in countries like India, South Africa, England and Australia. In India, all 11 Diesel stores will feature the exclusive collection.
