Jio Infocomm will now focus highly on customer experience and comparatively less on subsidized pricing. This is contrary to earlier speculations about the subsidized pricing agendaof JioInfocomm’s4G networking services.

This news has been confirmed by Chief Product and Innovation Officer, Rainer Deutschmann.“
We are not saying we will lower the price, but we will create a better experience”, said Deutschmann in an interview to ET. He further went on to say that it is highly imperative to offer a worthwhile experience to clients. Deutschmann opined that while flawless telecom services are indispensable, build quality and overall user interface of a smart phone also matters to a high degree. Reliance Industry’s chairperson, Mukesh Ambani had listed a varied number of services that Reliance Jio would be offering. The future of India’s networking system looks bright, with Reliance Jio Infocomm ready to accommodate a wider customer base through its app ‘Jio Join’. Jio Infocomm will do this by ensuring that 2G and 3G users can partake of its networking services. This Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) app will aid in downloading data and making video calls.Reliance Jio Infocomm SVP & CTO – North, Udit Bajpayi, also told a TV channel that Reliance’s LTE, Wi-Fi and FTTx features will make for easy networking across a varied range of customers.
