Reliance Jio launched an initiative to further promote its smart phones and increase its sales in the market. The program was kick-started by its employees who can invite ten acquaintances to avail of Jio’s high-speed 4G broad-band services for free. The scheme comprises an unlimited number of voice calls, 4G LTE data services and Jio applications for three months on purchasing a
LYF Mobile by the invited customers. Jio Play, Jio On-Demand, JioMags, JioBeats, Jio Security and Jio Drive are among the list of applications that it offers.
Current subscriber base
Jio confirmed that its current subscriber base is 500,000 users who also own LYF smart phones. The telecom giant intends to commercialize full-scale services once its user base reaches a few million.

LYF phones achieved a seven percent share in the market in the first quarter of the year itself. The brand is now set to dominate the market by giving its rivals a run for their money.
